When in early 2004 I started to promote Extremadura internationally, my aim was to assist clients in discovering this region as a viable alternative to the Spanish Costas, where most of 'The Real Spain' has been cemented over.

By now I concentrate on the northern, most beautiful half of Extremadura, called Cáceres province (pronounced Kaaaseres), with its identically named capital: Cáceres city, and its vast medieval centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987.
