In back of this patio there are stone stairs leading into the olive grove, separated from the patio in back of the house by a massive retaining wall built in traditional stone. - Separate Gate (needs to be reset) into the grounds, leading into a flat area of some 70 meters length by 5 meters wide (for evt. parking + vegetable garden + pool), with at its end some traditional stone steps leading into the lower-lying main patio, and so to the house.
The remainder of the grounds, planted with fruit- and olive trees behind the house, slopes uphill, although not too steep. The entire grounds are walled in by traditional stone walls in good state.
The wall separating the property from the country lane running alongside it needs some restacking in a few places, due to slight damage sustained by delivery of building materials.

The present owner heightened the walls of the house by using modern large chambered bricks. He planned to render this new upper part of the walls in a colour which would be in keeping with the lower walls of traditional stone.
